Mark Perpich
President
Great Lakes Mechanical Corporation-President since 1983. Set an example for growth and a course of expansion through several milestone transition periods. Under his leadership, Great Lakes Mechanical is today ranked among the top 10 firms in Southeast Michigan.

Thirty-three years experience in the HVAC industry encompassing a diverse and intensive exposure to commercial and industrial project management as well as overall business administration.

Supervised the development of the corporate accounting and estimating computerization. Instituted a corporate policy and procedure manual to describe work task and provide a vehicle for continuous update and improvement. Implemented and ISO Certified Program.
Jim Dembinski
Vice President of Construction
Great Lakes Mechanical has employed Jim Dembinski since May of 2008. He has been the Vice President of Construction since July of 2014.

Jim has over twenty-nine (29) years of HVAC industry experience including, conceptual design and budgeting, design, estimating, project management, 3-D modeling, energy consumption modeling, constructability, scheduling sales and business administration.

Great Lakes Mechanical employee from 2001 - present. Gained experience in all departments of the company from top to bottom.

Steve Daybird
Director of Operations
Director of Operations for Great Lakes Mechanical. Twenty-two years of management level experience in the Mechanical Contracting industry, including: Sales, Estimating, Project Management, Service, Finance, and Operations.

Project delivery formats include Design/Build, Design Assist, Team Construct, Plan/Spec, and GMP. LEED Accredited Professional with knowledge of green building technologies and sustainable design practices.

Integral part of the growth and maintenance of a client base through relationship-based sales of mechanical contracting services. Developed various management information reports to track material and equipment status, construction costs, labor requirements, and contract status.
Mike Murphy
Controller
Over the past 13 years Michael has worked in both public and private accounting. Starting out his career in public accounting at a CPA Firm working as a staff accountant and then being promoted to senior manager on construction clients and employee benefit plan audit engagements. He has a vast knowledge and experience of individual, corporate and complex partnership tax returns.

In the private sector he has worked as a controller for over 5 years, the past 3 years at Great Lakes Mechanical. Manages the accounting department with staff size ranging from 2- 4 employees. Is very experienced in job cost and construction accounting. In July 2015 was tasked to be more involved with the operations side of the company, taking an active role in weekly project manager meetings to track project progress. He also takes the lead on the Information Technology (IT) systems of the company.
